Meet Siobhan Hannah

Siobhan grew up in England and Ireland before moving to Chiang Mai, Thailand, where she currently teaches English Literature and Social Studies at a prominent international school. Her academic background—including a Master's in Applied Linguistics (M.Ed.) from The Open University and a PGCE in Secondary English from Nottingham Trent University—combines with daily classroom experience to give her deep insight into how people actually learn languages.

She's worked in diverse teaching environments, from teaching IELTS and Cambridge exams at ILA Vietnam to serving as Acting Head of English at the British School Yangon. She also holds a CELTA (Pass B) from Cambridge English. This breadth of experience means she understands different learning styles, cultural backgrounds, and the specific challenges that come with mastering English grammar, writing, and speaking.

Whether you're a student preparing for university, a teacher developing your classroom language, or a professional working on exam preparation, Siobhan helps you understand not just what's wrong, but why—so you can fix it permanently. She's especially good at breaking down complex grammar concepts, helping you write with clarity and confidence, and explaining abstract concepts in ways that make sense.

She brings a practical, structured approach to every session—helping you identify and fix the fundamental issues that actually matter, whether that's mastering exam criteria, developing clearer teaching language, or writing with confidence.
